My husband bought a new hummingbird feeder and we have seen both male and female hummingbirds feasting on the nectar.

It is hard to photograph these tiny creatures but with my 8 megapixel camera and the telephoto lens all the way out, I did get this shot of this cute fellow. Male, ruby throated, I think. [Anyone sure?]

Last year, in July, we saw a rose breasted grosbeak but it has not been seen again.
